THE WINNERS OF THE SPARTAKIAD "HEALTH" WERE AWARDED

     The sports complex of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University recently hosted the traditional sports contest "Health" for employees and teaching staff, which this year was held for the 49th time by the Parasat workers' union together with the Sports Club.
   671 people from 20 teams took part in the Spartakiad. In addition to the faculties, the Department of Information and Communication, the Center for Situational Management, the Scientific Library and the Military Department actively participated in the Spartakiad. Teachers and staff competed in six sports: volleyball (men, women), mini-football, badminton, table tennis, the national game – togyzkumalak.
     Following the results of the Spartakiad, the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics took the II place in the university ranking and was awarded a diploma and a cup.
