KazNU student won the silver medal of the World Championship

Student of the Kazakh National University named after. Al-Farabi Arina Altukhova won the silver medal at the World Junior Championships, which takes place in Changwon (South Korea). 600 young athletes from 45 countries of the world take part in the competition.

To implement the SDGs, KazNU has created all the conditions for physical development and health promotion. Thanks to this, student-athletes of KazNU take prizes in international competitions and the Olympic Games.

The athlete became a silver medalist in a small-caliber rifle, gaining 455.7 points in three positions - standing, lying down, shooting 50 meters from the knee.

Arina also recently won a silver medal at the VI Summer Spartakiad of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A few months ago she won the World Championship in Jakarta. In addition, the athlete will perform at the XXXI World Summer Universiade, which will be held in Chengdu (China).
