These events are organized within the framework of the State Policy in the field of Higher Education and science, in order to support young people and foster patriotic spirit.
Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University supported the republican EcoStudentKZ challenge. As part of the environmental campaign on October 8, about 200 young people studying at KazNU took part in the work of cleaning up popular tourist places from garbage, in particular, the Kok Zhailau plateau and the Butakovsky Gorge.
The students took the useful initiative with great enthusiasm. Kalan Tannur, 2nd year of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics:
On Saturday, having supported the republican EcoStudentKZ project, we went to a clean-up day in the Butakov Gorge. There we collected the scattered garbage, clearing the gorge of harmful waste. I think that KazNU students, together with the youth of Almaty and the mayor of the city, have done a great job. I urge all residents of the city to keep clean."
