Review of a KazNU student from Pakistan
Distinguished members of the university and my fellow mates, good evening. As most of you may not be familiar with me, for obvious reasons, let me introduce myself. I am Abdul Mughees Ashar. I am currently a fourth year medical student here in KazNU and was born in the Islamic republic of Pakistan. It’s an honour to stand here in front of such a beautiful audience and to be able to share some of the phenomenal experiences I had during my stay in Kazakhstan so far.
Kazakhstan has been a decent option among international students to pursue their further studies. The institutions here have been approved by several reputed organisations throughout the world. The food and living expenses are mediocre and it has provided students with quality education at lesser expense making it as of date, one of the best options for them. Kazakhstan is no doubt an ethnically diverse nation which has offered us international students a chance to meet and live among people from all over the world and KazNU has given us an opportunity to pursue education alongside these people. We have been given a chance to make friends from around the globe and learn about their culture.
Everyone of you may have different opinions and experiences about your life here. Speaking of my personal feelings about coming here and having lived here for the past 3 years. I, for one, have had good experiences along with bad. People here have been very helpful and hospitable but at the same time they have also been rude and unfriendly. I have made friends and lost too. There have been times when I've felt homesick, but I've been able to cope because of these people around me.
For that i would like to thank the people who stayed with me and the university for helping me achieve these dreams.
