In order to increase publication activity, from September 26 to 28, 2023, teaching staff and doctoral students of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics took part in a series of seminars "ELSEVIER DAYS" held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The training seminars were conducted by MD, MRN, Elsevier consultant for Central Asia and Azerbaijan Rabiga Kozhamkul and PhD, Associate Professor, Director of the LEK Center Usatayeva Gainel Meirtaevna The following topics were considered at the training seminar: 1. Choosing a relevant topic for research and project 2. What is LEK approval and how to get it? 3. Effective search for literature and life hacks from Elsevier on writing review articles 4. Search for a journal for publication 5. Search for cooperation and co-leaders 6. Search for grant opportunities 7. Analysis of the market of scientific products.
