Strong Advocacy – the pillar of the Rule of Law

On October 06, 2023, Astana hosted the Kazakhstan International VII Forum "Strong Advocacy – the pillar of the Rule of Law". This is a key event of the Central Asian region, where the leaders of the bar and international experts will discuss the latest developments and pressing issues affecting the legal profession in the world.
There was an exchange of views to develop solutions on the most pressing issues of professional legal activity, establish relations with international colleagues and form a positive image of Kazakhstan on the way to a rule of law state.
Representatives of the Presidential Administration, Parliament, state bodies and representatives of the bar of Central Asian and Caucasian countries, representatives of international bar organizations - the International Commission of Lawyers/ICJ, the International Bar Association/IBA, the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission), the American Bar Association/ABA were invited and attended. The forum was also attended by the lecturer of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, lawyer of the Almaty City Bar Association Smagulova Sanray Kanatkyzy.
