Problems of poverty eradication: international aspects

Today, on 12.10.2023, at 11.00 in auditorium 328, a scientific seminar "Problems of poverty eradication: international aspects" was held, organized by the Department of "Customs, Financial and Environmental Law" of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, dedicated to the International Day of Combating Poverty. The scientific seminar was held within the framework of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. The UN Sustainable Development Goal 1 is "poverty eradication". The scientific seminar was opened by the head of the Department "Customs, Financial and Environmental Law", Doctor of Law Kuanalieva G.A. In her speech, the head of the department focused on the activities carried out to reduce poverty in the world. Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Legal Sciences Kuandykov K.Zh. made a scientific report on the topic "Actual problems of poverty eradication". The scientific report discussed in detail topical issues of poverty eradication around the world. Also, speaking at a scientific seminar, Associate professor of the Department, Candidate of Legal Sciences Aigarinova G.T. noted that the elimination of poverty in the world can be carried out only through joint actions. The scientific seminar was attended by the teaching staff of the Department of "Customs, Financial and Environmental Law" of the Faculty of Law and 3rd year students of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Geography. At the end of the seminar, Doctor of Law E.S. Rakhmetov spoke and thanked the teachers and students for holding a scientific seminar dedicated to such an urgent problem. Following the results of the scientific seminar, specific recommendations were adopted.
