19.10.2023 within the framework of SDG -14 conservation of marine ecosystems, a round table was held among students of the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. This event was dedicated to discussing the urgent need to protect marine ecosystems from destruction and pollution. Students and teachers of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law discussed the importance of biodiversity in the oceans and the impact of human activity on marine animals and plants.
We discussed concrete steps that can be taken to save marine ecosystems. This includes organizing marine reserves, improving waste collection in the oceans, and developing sustainable fishing practices.
We believe that by working together we will be able to secure the future for our marine ecosystems. Do not forget that the oceans play an important role in the life of our planet, and the preservation of their biodiversity is a task that requires immediate action.
