On October 31, 2023 at 12.00, within the framework of the implementation of the UN SDG No. 16 "Peace, Justice and effective institutions", the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics held a guest lecture by Mr. Maldybayev Kazybek Maldybaevich - Representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Almaty. During the lecture, Mr. Maldybayev stressed that the "National Center for Human Rights in Almaty" plays a key role in protecting the rights of citizens. He noted that everyone can play a role in the effective realization of human rights in society, starting with small but significant steps. Mr. Maldybayev gave many examples from practice, as a result of which students received valuable practical knowledge about the mechanisms of protection of rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
