03.11.2023 Within the framework of the AP14872079 project "Victimological problems of prevention of domestic violence", a webinar was held on the topic: "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGAINST THE ELDERLY: THE HIDDEN TROUBLE OF SOCIETY". The speakers of the webinar were police captain, 2nd year doctoral student of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education Kurmangalieva Laura Zhumabekovna and 2nd year doctoral student of the Department of Criminal Law, Process and Criminalistics Tagaybek Kymbat Talgatkyzy. The webinar was attended by 2nd-year doctoral students of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named after M.Esbulatov, as well as students and undergraduates of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Kurmangalieva Laura Zhumabekovna revealed the types of domestic violence against the elderly and instructions on how to help them if they are victims of domestic violence.
In turn, Tagaibek Kymbat got acquainted with the statistics of domestic violence and compared it with the international opt.
During the webinar, webinar listeners actively asked questions about domestic violence and prevention of domestic violence.
