As part of the SDGs, a meeting with students on the topic “The country’s youth is free from drug addiction.”

         As part of the SDGs, on November 9 at 11:00 a discussion and explanatory work was held in 317 classrooms with 117 groups of students on the topic “The youth of the country are free from drug addiction.” Students were explained how to avoid using drugs and harmful substances.

         Drug use is one of the problems that negatively affects the health, mental and physical well-being of young people and leads to behavioral disorders. As of July 1, 2022, due to the use of psychoactive substances, more than 6 thousand Kazakhstanis aged 18-29 years are under dynamic observation with a diagnosis of “mental behavioral disorders” (PMD). 46% of them used drugs and psychotropic substances.
