A 3rd year student of the specialty “Physical Culture and Sports” of the Al-Farabi KazNU Aitbekova Akezhan took 1st place at the II Turkic Universiade in freestyle wrestling in Turkestan. In this competition, Aitbekov A. competed in the 97 kg weight category. About 450 participants from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Hungary take part in the Universiade.
