A 3rd year student of the specialty “Physical Culture and Sports” of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Shauken Aruzhan took 2nd place in the individual competition at the 2nd Turkic Universiade in chess in Turkestan. About 450 participants from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Hungary take part in the Universiade.
