In order to implement the SDGs, on November 10 at 12.00 in room 317 of the Faculty of Law, a scientific seminar was held with students of group 108 on the topic “Environmental problems of Almaty.” The moderators of the seminar were the head of the department of civil law and civil procedure, labor law, Doctor of Law, Professor Suleimenova S.Zh. and deputy head of the department for educational and methodological work, associate professor Nurakhmetova G.G. During the seminar, students discussed issues related to the deterioration of the environmental quality and ecology of the city of Almaty, and also voiced their ways to solve problems with the city’s ecology.
During the scientific seminar, questions were raised about improving the ecology of Almaty, 1st year students actively discussed the topic of environmental problems of the city and raised concerns about this. It was noted that the main environmental problems of the city are air pollution, solid waste disposal, landscaping problems and ill-conceived development .
