On November 13, 2023, a Russian legal researcher from Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University took part in a seminar on the discipline "Information Law" for 4th-year students in the specialty "Jurisprudence" within the framework of the UN global program to achieve the 9 SDGs and 17 SDGs in order to further educational partnership in the walls of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia), Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Filipova Irina Anatolyevna with the topic "Legal regulation of artificial intelligence". The leading teacher of the lesson is Doctor of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law Kalisheva N.H. and PhD Doctor of the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law, who introduced the guest who arrived at the faculty, Asanova S.E., cordially accepted this friendly gesture of the Russian colleague.  The exchange of opinions aroused interest and heated discussion among students. The issues of the use of artificial intelligence as the main technology in various spheres of life of modern society were touched upon. A guest from Nizhny Novgorod University, who, within the framework of the grant project, provided a comparative table of the level of development of this technology in the modern world, kindly emphasized that Kazakhstan occupies a leading place among the former CIS countries - 74th place. Also, the guest, associate professor Irina Anatolyevna Filipova, shared a link to the electronic materials of her author's courses and works. In conclusion, she kindly invited the Faculty of Law Faculty to participate in a Round table on the legal regulation of artificial intelligence, within the framework of regional cooperation between Europe and Asia, which will be held in May next year at the State University of the city of Samarkand of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where a fruitful discussion on this issue is planned.  It seems that such mutual meetings of legal scholars within the framework of social partnership are always welcome and useful in all respects!
