On the eve of the 90th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, on November 16, 2023, the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics held a scientific seminar on the topic: "Practical aspects of countering crimes against wildlife: topical issues, problems, solutions (on the example of argali)" as part of the implementation of UN SDG 15, THE CONSERVATION OF TERRESTRIAL ECOSYSTEMS..
Ilina Victoria Olegovna acted as moderator and main speaker.  Roman Vasilyevich Yaschenko acted as an invited speaker. 
The seminar was held in a hybrid format. The seminar participants actively participated in the discussion, noting the relevance of the topic and the need to improve law enforcement practice.
