Results of the scientific seminar on the topic: «Sustainable cities and human settlements: Integration of legal aspects».

On November 21, 2023, at 12.00, the Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedure, Labor Law within the framework of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals held a scientific seminar on the topic "Sustainable cities and settlements: Integration of legal aspects". The event brought together representatives of the teaching staff, students, undergraduates and doctoral students, creating a unique platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of law and sustainable development.

In the modern world, facing the challenges of climate change, environmental crises and urbanization, ensuring sustainable urban development is becoming a national and global priority. Legal aspects play a key role in the formation and implementation of sustainable development strategies.

The seminar was actively attended by teachers of the department, as well as students, undergraduates and doctoral students. The structure of the seminar included plenary sessions, panel discussions and sections on specific aspects of sustainability. Speaker Karasheva Zh.T. presented her visions of how legal norms and tools can be used to support sustainable urban development.

The discussions discussed issues of legal regulation of environmental and social aspects of urban development, as well as the role of labor law in creating equal and sustainable working conditions.
