The event “Chinese Culture Day: Traditions and Heritage of the Chinese People”, held jointly with Chinese students within the framework of SDG 17 “Partnership for Sustainable Development”

On 11/21/2023, at the Faculty of International Relations, the Department of International Law organized the event “Chinese Culture Day: Traditions and Heritage of the Chinese People”, held jointly with Chinese students within the framework of SDG 17 “Partnership for Sustainable Development”. Undergraduates and students from China demonstrated a tea ceremony and talked about the tradition of serving tea to guests. They also talked about national dishes and the way they are served on holidays. During the discussion, they discussed the importance of celebrating national holidays and the tradition of honoring adult family members. The most interesting point was the history of the origin of law and laws in China. During the discussion, the participants drew attention to the great interest of Kazakh students in Chinese culture. The meeting itself was very lively and informative.
