Results of the scientific seminar on the topic:

23.11.2023 the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labour Law held a scientific seminar on the topic: «Implementation of separate provisions on the contractual responsibility of European law about the UN SDG». The speaker was Ilina Viktoriya, Deputy Chairman of the Kazakhstan National Committee of the UNESCO program «Man and the Biosphere», a Ph.D. student in the 1st course of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi. The moderation of the scientific seminar and discussion was held by the head of the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labour Law, Professor Suleimenova Saule.

During the scientific seminar, the interaction of the UN SDGs with current trends in improving law enforcement practice in the Republic of Kazakhstan was highlighted. Special attention is paid to the possibilities of implementation of separate mechanisms of English and European law in the national law of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of their historical expediency and practical necessity. The article analyses some issues of strengthening the compensation character of civil-law liability for breach of contract taking into account the analysis of possible application of DCFR (Draft Common Frame of Reference) and Principles of international commercial contracts (contracts) (Unidroit principles of international commercial contracts).

In the course of the discussion and exchange of viewpoints, the students expressed the need for a thorough and complete analysis of the actual law enforcement practice and law-making process with a view to the subsequent formulation of proposals, aimed at improving the mechanisms for implementing existing legal institutions.
