Peace, Justice and effective institutions

On November 28, 2023 at 15:00 at the Faculty of Law of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the framework of SDG 16 "Peace, Justice and effective institutions" by the teachers of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law doctor of legal sciences Baymakhanova D.M. and Candidate of legal sciences Kusainov D.O. was A leadership lecture on "The state of justice through the prism of New Kazakhstan" was organized. The speaker of the lecture was Nurbolatov Azamat Nurbolatuly, Director of the law firm LLP "Adilettik.kz", President of the Public Foundation "New Kazakhstan – Fair Kazakhstan", Member of the working group in the Committee on Legislation and Judicial and Legal Reform of  Majilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

          In his speech, Azamat Nurbolatovich touched upon several problematic issues. He spoke about his activities as a member of the working group in the Committee on Legislation and Judicial Reform of Majilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of draft laws on amendments and additions to the Criminal, Criminal Procedure and Criminal Executive Codes. Then he told about his scientific work on the preparation of a PhD thesis on the topic "Security measures in criminal law (comparative legal analysis)".

          Nurbolatov A.N. highlighted his work on development of draft laws, including the Administrative Code and the Administrative procedural and procedural code. As a researcher and practical worker, he participated in the work on improving legislation on law enforcement agencies and the judicial system, as well as strengthening the institute of administrative justice in the Republic.

          The students listened to the lecture with great interest, asked questions, especially on such textbooks by Azamat Nurbolatovich as "Human trafficking" and "Other measures of criminal legal impact for committing crimes".
