Our university was founded on January 15, 1934 in Almaty and has since become an integral part of the intellectual and cultural heritage of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 
The past decades have been a time filled with research, intellectual growth and knowledge exchange. Over its long and successful path, the university has won well-deserved recognition as a leader in the field of education and science not only in the Republic of Kazakhstan, but also far beyond its borders. 
The University has made an invaluable contribution to the development of science, the training of outstanding scientists, highly qualified personnel and successful graduates. We are proud of the university's achievements in various fields of science and education!
