At the lesson on the subject "Actual problems of the theory of state and law", the 1st year magistrate Al-Farabi Kazakh National University of the Faculty of Law Kuandyk Khorlanmade a presentation on the topic "The judicial system of the Republic of Kazakhstan: problems and prospects of development".   Kuandyk Khorlan has work experience in the judicial system. During the lesson, the issues of judicial reform in Kazakhstan were considered. 

The 1st year magistrates took an active part in the discussion of this topic. Foreign judicial systems were studied on the basis of the comparative legal method.  The speakers noted the different ages at which a lawyer can become a judge.  For example, in Kazakhstan – 30 years, in Armenia – 35 years, in Belgium, Slovakia, Turkey, South Korea, Portugal – 40 years; in Hungary – 45 years.  Specific proposals were made to improve the judicial system of Kazakhstan. 

The classes were conducted under the guidance of Doctor of Law, Professor Ibraуeva A.S.
