SDG-3: The project "Assistance to 100 families”
The Komek Public Foundation of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has successfully completed the project "Assistance to 100 families" with the participation of students. The aim of the project is to reduce the number of low-income families in Kazakhstan and provide them with assistance.
On October 17, a fundraiser began on Komek_kaznu's Instagram page, which lasted for 2 weeks. Both students and residents of the city took part in the gathering. About 1 million tenge was collected in two weeks. Many applications were received from the city of Almaty, from which 100 families from among low-income, large and needy families were selected. They received food and clothing totaling 10 thousand tenge per family.
Our campaign has become an interesting and eventful business for students. Despite the fact that the project has been completed, we continue to help low-income and large families! Food, clothing and basic necessities can be delivered to the address: 71/15 al-Farabi Street. The Komek warehouse is located in the reading room on the second floor of the 15th dormitory.
