"Advisor's Hour" with the first year students of the Faculty of Journalism

On February 9, a advisor hour was held, the purpose of the session was to introduce the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the establishment of a single time zone on the territory of our country. The decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 1749 "On the order of calculation of time in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan" from January 19, 2024 № 20 states that this change will occur from March 1, 2024, about which the advisor provided information for students of the 1st year, Russian department, "Journalism" major.

During the advisor hour, the students together with their advisor discussed the importance of this process, so that in the future, the transition to a different time will not affect the study and well-being of the participants of the educational process. The advisor also explained that accordingly the timetable time will be adjusted according to this Resolution.

Other issues related to studies were also discussed, such as grades, attendance, building communication between teachers and students, and participation in various events.
