INTERNATIONAL WINTER SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS SOFIA UNIVERSITY AND TOKYO UNIVERSITY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

02/06/2024 at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University under the guidance of senior teachers Borankulova S.K. and Nurelova A.M. The grand opening of the winter school for Japanese university students who arrived in Almaty from the land of the rising sun the day before took place. Students arrived in Kazakhstan to undergo training as part of the winter school program at the Faculty of Oriental Studies from the largest higher educational institutions in Japan - Sofia University and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. Let me remind you that Japanese students will now begin undergoing 3-week training with local teachers as part of the winter school program at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Japanese students not only listen to lectures on the language, culture and history of our country, but also organize cultural and educational events, round tables, student forums and competitions with students of the Japanese Studies department.

In addition, as part of the winter school program, it is planned for foreign students to travel with department students to the Central Museum of Almaty, the Koktobe recreation center, the Medeu skating rink and the Sharyn Gorge.
