Cooperation with the University of Tsukuba in the framework of the "Campus-in-Campus” project

Al-Farabi KazNU, as a research university, is actively developing strategic cooperation in science and higher education with higher education institutions, and organizations around the world.

Since 2019, Al-Farabi KazNU has been a participant in the “Campus-in-Campus” Initiative. A memorandum between the University of Tsukuba and KazNU was signed within the framework of the QS World University Rankings 2019 Forum, which was held at the leading university in the country. The purpose of this project is to increase the academic mobility of students and lecturers.

On March 13-14, 2024, a delegation from the University of Tsukuba in Japan visited our university. During the visit, Institute of Medicine professor Kobayashi Yusuke, NipCA project researcher Insebayeva Nafissa and four students from the School of Medicine and Health Sciences Tasaki Ayana, Yuki Mai, Kumakura Midori, Suzuki Honoka came.

During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the work of the Student Service Center “Keremet”, visited the clinical diagnostic center “Keremet”, and guests also visited the “Scientific and Practical Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise and Monitoring” of the National Center for Healthcare of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is the main clinical base for training public health specialists.
