THE WEBINAR ON "ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY OF CITIES AND BIOLOGICAL SAFETY OF THE POPULATION"

According to SDG 11, the processes of urbanization of human settlements should develop according to the principle of universal accessibility of space, providing an environmentally safe and favorable habitat. The problems and tasks for achieving SDG 11 were discussed of webinar "Environmental sustainability of cities and biological safety of the population" on September 8 this year at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University UNESCO chair of Sustainable Development.   The speakers were PhD, Associate Professor Sadyrova G.A. and PhD, Associate Professor Tazhibaeva T.L.

The participants got acquainted with the criteria for assessing the environmental sustainability of cities, which can be applied to all settlements. The basic principles of ensuring the biological safety of competent authorities and the most common types of biological threats were also presented.
