A scientific seminar on the topic «Abstract. The structure and content of the abstract»

12.04.2024. 1st year doctoral student of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Nazerke Zhumadilova held a scientific seminar on the topic «Abstract. The structure and content of the abstract» of the week of Science and implementation of SDG 4 «Quality Education». 
The purpose of the event was to familiarize participants with the importance of annotations in scientific activity and knowledge exchange, as well as to teach the basic principles and rules of their compilation.
The following issues were covered during the seminar:
1. The value of the annotation in scientific work.
2. The main elements of the annotation structure.
3. Various types of annotations and their features.
4. Practical skills of making a high-quality annotation.
During the seminar, examples of annotations of various scientific articles and studies were presented, their strengths and weaknesses were discussed, and recommendations for improving the quality of annotations were considered.
The participants actively participated in the discussion and asked questions, which contributed to a deeper understanding of the topic.
