The Consulate General of Hungary, in cooperation with the Kazakh National Library, held an informational exhibition called "The World-Known Petofi"

On November 7, 2023, in Almaty, the Consulate General of Hungary, in cooperation with the Kazakh National Library, held an informational exhibition called "The World-Known Petofi" in connection with the bicentenary of the Hungarian poet-writer Sándor Petofi (1823-1849). The official opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the Consul General of Hungary, Ferenc Blaumann, the director of the National Library, Ospanova Bakhytzhamal Kairbekovna. In addition, 2nd year students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of International Relations went to this exhibition evening under the guidance of an advisor. The students not only got acquainted with the work of the Hungarian writer Sándor Petofi, but also supplemented their knowledge about the connection in the cultural sphere of Kazakh-Hungarian relations. After the opening of the exhibition, the guests watched a Hungarian film with the Consul General in the cinema hall of the National Library and got a good impression.
