The documentary film "I want to live on: The Untold Stories of the Polygon" was shown at the Faculty of International Relations

On 06/04/2024, the documentary film "I want to live on: The Untold Stories of the Polygon" was shown at the Faculty of International Relations of Al-FarabiKazakh National University.

The documentary "I Want to Move on: Untold stories of the test site" about the Semipalatinsk test site was created by the Center for International Security and Policy (CISP). Through compelling eyewitness accounts, this film highlights the long-term damage and suffering caused by nuclear testing, which affects people across three generations to this day.  

The main guests at the screening of the film were Director of the Center for International Security and Politics Alimzhan Akhmetov, Head of the International Security Department of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Aben. 

After the screening, international students actively discussed the film, expressed their opinions and asked questions to experts.
