KazNU analyzed the mechanisms of legal services in CA countries
The II Central Asian International Legal Forum "Law as a basis for regional economic integration" started its work at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event was organized by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in cooperation with the Moscow State Law University named after O.E. Kutafin. Renowned experts, scientists and practitioners, teachers and students took part in the work.
The purpose of the forum is to unite the efforts of leading scientists of Kazakhstan and foreign countries - lawyers, political scientists, philosophers, economists to discuss and solve pressing issues of the formation of a common Eurasian space. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev addressed the participants. He noted that the forum is aimed at uniting the efforts of outstanding experts, scientists and practitioners to consider topical issues of legislative regulation of integration and cooperation in the field of legal services in the countries of Central Asia.
"The most important task of a legal, democratic, social state is to consolidate, ensure, guarantee, protect human and civil rights and freedoms in the modern multipolar world. The constitutional reform in Kazakhstan in 2022 and subsequent improvements of constitutional and legal legislation in this area were aimed at solving this most important task. Today's discussions will make a significant contribution to the solution of urgent problems of state building of our countries", - emphasized the rector of KazNU.
At the meeting in the online format spoke: Rector of O.E. Kutafin University (MGJA) Viktor Blazheev, Chairman of the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Igor Rogov and others. According to Igor Rogov, in the conditions of economic integration, the legislation and practice of neighboring countries is of particular interest. This can help to identify successful models of economic development, innovations in business and other useful aspects that can be adapted and applied in one's own country. Studying the legislation of different countries will open up new opportunities for cooperation, including joint projects, exchange of experience and technologies, and strengthening economic relations.
After the plenary session, the work of the forum continued in nine panel sections. The participants of the two-day forum made reports, each expressed his point of view in the debates. At the end of the event, the guests accompanied by representatives of the University visited the sights of Almaty.
