Meeting with the Finnish Meteorological Institute

On 09/18/2024, the teaching staff of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law met with the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) in connection with the discussion of international cooperation within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals 13 and the National Development Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2029. At a meeting with professors, Katya Lavin presented plans for cooperation between FM and Kazhydromet and KazNU. During the meeting with representatives of the FMI, Head of the department G. A. Kuanalieva and Professor D. L. Baideldinov was asked questions about Finnish legislation in the field of atmospheric air protection. Foreign professors gave reasonable and rational answers to these questions, providing valuable explanations on the specifics of environmental standards and regulations in force in Finland.
