KazNU students discussed the Head of State's Address

     As part of the implementation of the UN SDGs, under the guidance of adviser Nurakhmetova G.G., students of group 209 discussed the Message of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan "Fair Kazakhstan: law and order, economic growth, public optimism". In his Message on September 2, the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted very important points for determining the further course of development of our country. The key points of the Message are such areas as the development of the economic sphere of the state, in particular, attracting more investments to the country, adopting relevant laws for the banking sector, unlocking the potential of the industrial sector, improving the state of infrastructure in the country, introducing artificial intelligence and digitalization in the work of bodies. Also, the president of our country raised important issues for the near future, that is, he announced the date of the referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant, which is a very important stage of development for our state. The students noted that holding a referendum will help make a balanced decision on the development of nuclear energy and ensuring the country's energy security. Without a stable, environmentally friendly and cost-effective power supply, we risk being left on the sidelines of history. This is an important decision for our country. A decision that will determine our future.
