Career guidance meeting "We choose a profession, the profession chooses us"                                                                    

On September 19, 2024, a meeting "We choose a profession, the profession chooses us" was held at the State Institution "B.Beisekbayev Gymnasium School with a Pre-school Mini Center" of the state institution "Department of Education for the Balkhash district of the Department of Education of the Almaty region". Holders of various professions holding high positions in the Balkhash district were invited to the meeting: Kerimova Ukilai Kerimovna - Doctor of Economics, Professor, academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, Bazarbayeva Zhazira Amankeldievna - Master of EMBA in the educational program "Business Administration". Head of the Staff of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, Bakytzhan Oxykbayev - Director of the Bakanas Agricultural and Industrial College, Bazarbayeva Tursynkul Amankeldievna - Head of the UNESCO Department for Sustainable Development of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Future specialists, students of grades 9-11, received a lot of information during the event. T. A. Bazarbayeva, Head of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development, emphasized the advantages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University over other universities in the country and paid special attention to the specialties of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management. During the career guidance, handouts were distributed to students.
