Legal education and legal education as the basis for the formation of an anti-corruption culture and anti-corruption consciousness among young people

On September 20, 2024, employees of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law Leyla Kultemirova and Sanray Smagulova took part in a seminar dedicated to the formation of an anti-corruption culture. The event was held within the framework of the month of educational seminars "University without Corruption", planned within the walls of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.Together with students of the Faculties of International Relations and Information Technology, the problems of corruption in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the importance of anti-corruption culture in modern society and zero tolerance to any of its manifestations were discussed.

In her speech, Leyla Timurovna focused on corruption from the point of view of a threat to national security, noting the scale of the consequences of corruption for the state. It is noted that corruption can neutralize any achievements of the state and endanger both internal stability and credibility at the international level.

Sanray Smagulova shared her personal experience from law practice, speaking about the consequences of corruption offenses and revealing the importance of legal education in her professional development.
