«The round table: Discussion of nuclear power plant issues»

Today, the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, together with the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Administrative and Constitutional Law, within the framework of the implementation of SDG 17. "Partnership for Sustainable Development", held a round table on topical issues of the construction of a nuclear power plant (NPP).
The event was attended by the chairman of the Civil Alliance of Almaty, a member of the Public Council of Almaty and a member of the city People's Headquarters for the construction of the NPP Abdyhalykov Kairzhan Sayasatovich. His presence added special significance and depth to the discussion, because he shared his experience and vision regarding the development of nuclear energy in Kazakhstan.
The main topics of discussion included:
    Safety and ecology: how to minimize risks to the public and the environment;
    Legal aspects of nuclear power plant construction: which norms should be taken into account;
    The role of society in decision-making: how to involve citizens in discussion and decision-making on important issues.
The participants actively exchanged opinions, asked questions and shared their vision of the future of nuclear energy in our country. The round table has become an important platform for developing joint solutions and establishing a dialogue between representatives of government, science and society.
