Celebration of Hindi Language Day at Our Farabi University
On September 24, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a ceremonial celebration of International Hindi Day (Hindi Diwas), organized jointly with the Embassy of India in Kazakhstan and the Consulate General in Almaty. The event, held within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aimed at strengthening cultural ties between Kazakhstan and India.
During the event, representatives from the Indian Embassy and Consulate, as well as students from the Department of Indology, who study Indian culture and language, gave speeches. Participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Indian traditions and culture through musical and dance performances, as well as interactive games in the Hindi language.
This event became another step toward strengthening bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and India. It highlighted the importance of language learning as a tool for mutual understanding and harmony between nations, in line with the goals of global sustainable development.
