First course students’ initiation ceremony

At Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the long-awaited initiation ceremony for first-year students took place, marking an important event for the entire university and, in particular, for the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. This year, our faculty welcomed many new students eager to learn and achieve new milestones.

The traditional evening organized in honor of the first-year students was attended by media representatives, prominent figures, entrepreneurs, as well as faculty members, including Dean Doszhan N. S., the deputy deans, curators of the first-year students, senior curator Abenov B. K., and students from our faculty. Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuymebaev emphasized the importance of upholding laws and order in his speech, drawing on the message from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He urged students to focus not only on their studies but also on cultivating cultural and moral values.

The Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics always supports initiatives aimed at developing the knowledge and skills of our students. We are confident that the future specialists trained at our faculty will become a source of pride for the country and make significant contributions to its development.

During the ceremonial evening, first-year students received a symbolic "Key of Knowledge," which opens doors to new opportunities and achievements. We take pride in our students and are excited to see them on their journey toward knowledge and success.
