🌐✨ The Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Forensics participated in the international scientific and practical conference on "Countering Extremism and Terrorism: Domestic and International Experience," held on September 27, 2024, in Almaty.
🏛️ The conference was organized by the Department for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the German Society GIZ Representation in Kazakhstan, and the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Yesbulatov.
🤝 Participants: The conference brought together representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, consulates and embassies of Germany 🇩🇪, the Netherlands 🇳🇱, representatives of the European Union 🇪🇺, UNODC 🇺🇳, as well as experts from Uzbekistan 🇺🇿, Tajikistan 🇹🇯, Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬, and other CIS countries.
📅 During the conference, key aspects of state policy, current approaches to countering modern challenges, and the experience of Central Asian countries 🌏 in preventing violent extremism were discussed.
🗣️ The sessions included presentations by prominent specialists, such as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and representatives from international organizations, which facilitated the exchange of experiences and the development of effective measures to combat extremism.
