A NEW VECTOR OF COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF DEFENSE OF KAZAKHSTAN

On October 2, 2024, a working meeting was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies with representatives. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the joint training of specialists in the field of security and diplomacy with knowledge of Eastern languages. Thus, four students from the Military Engineering Institute of Radio Electronics and Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan were enrolled at the faculty to study the Eastern languages of Farsi and Urdu. At the end of the academic year, they will be issued transcripts indicating the list of completed courses. Cooperation between the civil and military universities continues. It can be said that the history of diplomatic relations of Kazakhstan with strategically important states of the East is being written at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
