A meeting with the bestselling author was held

On the 3rd of October 2024 the students of the 1st year of the Department of Chinese Studies had a meeting with the philosopher Saken Nurkabekuly, bestselling author of the books «The Essence of Profession», «The Essence of Love» in the direction of Quality education in accordance with the action plan implemented on the basis of "Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)".The meeting with the writer S. Nurkabekuly was held on the theme «My profession is my pride: the essence of choosing a profession», where the main question of the discussion was “How to find your direction?”.

The author's work «The Essence of Profession» is one of the most prominent books from the «Family chrestomathy» series in the society. The book gives an insight into profession, activity, talent, labour, dream, purpose, personal development from the point of view of existentialism. Their philosophical analyses are explained with life examples, documentary events. The author in his book seeks answers to a number of questions such as: “Is a profession a person's destiny or does he himself choose it?”, “How is a qualified specialist formed?”, “What is his tool, what is his value?”, “What to pay attention to on the career path?”.
