"Zhastarmen" project: Students in the fight against offenses through active participation and information.

As part of the project of the prosecutor's office "Zhastarmen", raid events are continuing.   The Almaty city Prosecutor's Office is implementing the author's project "Zhastarmen", aimed at preventing offenses involving students. An effective tool of the project was a special Telegram channel of the same name, created for the rapid exchange of information about offenses and raid events in which students can participate. Thus, a participant of the channel independently identified the sale of vapes in one of the shops of the Almaly district, as they were informed in the telegram channel. Based on the information received, the police conducted a raid, the information was confirmed. As a result, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of smoking tobacco products, electronic consumption systems, flavorings and liquids for them (Article 301-1, part 1 of the Criminal Code). The sanction of the article provides for criminal punishment in the form of a fine in the amount of up to two hundred monthly calculation indices or correctional labor in the same amount, or community service for up to two hundred hours, or arrest for up to fifty days.
