“An amazing country with a great history and a bright tomorrow's future”

Republic Day was declared a public holiday and was celebrated until 2009, after which it was abolished as an official day off. However, in 2022, the holiday was returned to the status of an important national celebration. Today it symbolizes the unity of the nation, its independence, as well as pride in the achievements of Kazakhstan over the years of independent development.
On 10/24/2024, within the walls of the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the teaching staff of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, teacher Smagulova S. K., together with group 124, held an open lesson “An amazing country with a great history and a bright tomorrow's future.” Students were provided with information about the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic Day, patriotism and national spirit were formed.
During the open lesson, students had a high interest in the history of Kazakhstan, 3 students shared interesting facts about our republic.
