MEETING WITH THE ACADEMY OF FOOTBALL CLUB "ATLETICO MADRID" TOOK PLACE AT THE AL-FARABI KAZAK NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

On October 23, 2024, a meeting was held between the Department of Physical Education of the Faculty of Medicine and Health with representatives of the Spanish Academy of Football Club «Atletico Madrid» in Kazakhstan.

The meeting was held with the aim of implementing a partnership for sustainable development. Representatives of the Academy of the football club "Atletico Madrid" Javier Gonzalez - manager of international projects, Carlos Aguirre - sports coordinator, Mansurov Tulpar - head of international cooperation shared their project to open a football children and youth academy in the Almaty region.

Based on the results of this meeting, the issue of international cooperation between the Academy of the Atletico Madrid football club and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was discussed. The cooperation between the University and the Academy will consider various areas of partnership, from the creation of a Spanish-language conversation club to serious joint projects such as a special program for the Master's degree, as well as the organization of scientific and practical internships for students at the Academy.
