The International forum "Kazakh-Chinese economic and trade cooperation" in the Chinese city of Khorgos

In accordance with the 4th Sustainable Development Goal "quality education" and the 8th goal "Decent work and economic growth, 17th goal "Partnership for sustainable Development", In the Chinese city of Khorgos, on October 24-25, 2024, an international forum titled “Economic and Trade Cooperation between Kazakhstan and China” took place. The event was attended by the Head of the "Finance and Accounting" Department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Candidate of Economic Sciences, and Associate Professor Galymzhan Eskarauly Kerimbek, who presented a report on the topic “Key Priorities of Trade and Economic Cooperation between Kazakhstan and China.”

The forum was organized by Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics, the Khorgos City Administration, K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University, and the Confucius Institute. Representatives from several Chinese universities, research institutes, companies, and employees of the Khorgos City Administration participated in the forum.

The purpose of the forum was to strengthen international economic cooperation between universities in Kazakhstan and China, facilitate experience sharing among faculty members, and enhance the educational process through academic mobility.
