Under the "Partnership for Sustainable Development" goal of the Sustainable Development Goals, the Head of the Arab Studies Department participated in an international scientific seminar
On October 24, 2024, the Head of Arab Studies Sector of the Middle East and South Asia Department Khavan Aydyngul took part in the II International Scientific Seminar entitled "Manuscript Collections in Kazakhstan: Preservation and Research," jointly organized by IRCICA (Turkey), the Nur-Mubarak University of Islamic Culture, and the National Library of Kazakhstan. She presented a report titled "The Processing of Manuscripts of Abu Nasr Al-Farabi’s Treatises."
This international scientific seminar, held for the second time in offline and online formats, brought together scholars and researchers from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and France, who shared their thoughts and scientific-practical experience in the preservation and study of written heritage. Special certificates were awarded to the seminar participants.
