On October 1, 2024, an open lesson was held at KazNU named after Al-Farabi, conducted by Associate Professor Amanzholov Zhaisankbek Meirbekuly. The topic discussed with third-year students majoring in "Land Management and Land Cadastre" was "Nuclear Power Plant: Pros and Cons" within the framework of the 9th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) "Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure."
Students had the opportunity to delve into important aspects of nuclear energy, examining its economic and ecological impact, as well as exploring alternative energy sources. During the open lesson, they analyzed the role of nuclear power in ensuring the country's energy security. At the same time, attention was drawn to the potential risks associated with nuclear accidents and waste disposal issues. Discussions included the connection between nuclear energy and the 9th SDG, highlighting the importance of infrastructure and innovation. This allowed participants to view the future of energy policy more comprehensively.
The open lesson served as a significant contribution to fostering a sustainable approach to energy policy among future specialists.
