THE CURATORIAL HOUR DEDICATED TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

On September 30, 2024, with the participation of students of group 110 of the 1st year of the Law Faculty of the Al-Farabi KazNU and the adviser of this group D.A. Bakirov within the framework of SDG-7 was held the curatorial hour dedicated to the construction of a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan.
Students were informed about the nuclear power plant, the experience of operating nuclear power plants in developed countries of the world, their advantages and impact on the economy. The students noted that a nuclear power plant is a complex structure that produces energy, analyzed its positive and negative sides, as well as their increasing importance in ensuring energy shortages in any country.
At the end of the meeting, the youth expressed hope that the active participation of all citizens by expressing their opinions in the republican referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant, which will be held on October 6, 2024, will help strengthen the tradition of democratic solutions to national issues in the country.
