"Elimination of Poverty"

Today, 28.10.2024, issues related to the topic of "Elimination of Poverty" were discussed between Group 107 and Mr. Myrzataev.

The elimination of poverty is a core commitment of UNDP. The organization aims to eliminate all forms of poverty and ensure social equality, providing every individual with the opportunity for a decent life. Within the framework of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the elimination of poverty is a crucial task for creating a world that respects human rights and the dignity of individuals.

The UNDP Strategic Plan for 2022–2025 plays an important role in addressing poverty issues. This strategy is aimed at supporting countries and communities in accelerating progress toward the elimination of poverty, as well as offering solutions that consider the economic, social, and environmental aspects of poverty.

To support government agencies in implementing new generation policies related to the elimination of poverty, reducing inequality, governance, sustainability, environmental issues, and gender equality, six solutions are proposed. These measures aim to eradicate the roots of poverty and enhance the well-being of all citizens.
