SDG-4: A scientific seminar on «Fundamentals of Anti-Corruption Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan» was held

     On September 19th the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU, within the framework of the implementation of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Development Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2029, SDG-16 and the comprehensive anti-corruption plan of Al-Farabi KazNU for the 2024-2025 academic year, with the participation of employees of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Service for the city of Almaty, held a scientific seminar on the topic «Fundamentals of Anti-Corruption Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan».

     The scientific seminar was opened with a preface by the Dean of the Law Faculty, PhD in Law, Associate Professor U.A. Akhatov. The scientific seminar was attended by the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption (Anti-Corruption Service) for the city of Almaty, Adil Sabitovich Dosanov, who introduced the activities of the anti-corruption agency. Mr. A.S. Dosanov answered students' questions about anti-corruption legislation.

      The scientific seminar was attended by Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Doctor of Law A.S. Ibraeva, Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor G.E. Kerimbek and Deputy Head of the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law for Scientific and Innovative Work and International Relations, PhD N.D. Myrzatayev, Director of the Student Legal Clinic D.A. Bakirov.

      Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Kuanalieva Guldana Amangeldievna thanked the guests who took part in the scientific seminar and summed up the results of the event. The event was held at a very high level.
